When Nina-Bliss and her owner left us at lunch-time, Luna, Vesta & I jumped into the car and headed off to the river for a thoroughly good romp and swim.  I had promised them and myself this after weeks of relative confinement.  We had a wonderful time together up and down the river bank.  Lots of running, swimming and splashing through the reeds.  Very much enjoyed by all.  I feel we deserved it!

It has been an extraordinary 8 weeks here; it never fails to be amaze me to watch the speed of development from birth until the point at which the puppies leave me 8 weeks later.

It has been a complete joy from start to finish: all the puppies, their owners and the visitors who have made their way here.

It feels very quiet in the garden now; we will start normal life again tomorrow but in the meantime I wish all my 10 wonderful owners and their families the happiest of times ahead.

I am looking forward already to our next litter in about 3 years time.  Will keep you posted!
