It has been a very wet day here today, only the third such day since the puppies jumped out of their whelping box.  Having said that, they don’t seem to mind at all and run around quite happily in the rain but retreat to their kennel to sit out the heavy downpours.

They have come into the kitchen in pairs throughout the day for a couple of hours at a time, first exploring every corner, playing and then finally falling asleep (Pink & Ringo, Nina & Dusty, Elvis & Otis, Dolly & Prince, Paolo & Caro).  The puppies are becoming very used to the everyday sounds of indoor life.  They are also good at using the strategically placed newspaper if they feel the need for a little wee!  Lots of praise is forthcoming for every good deed.
