The puppies were 6 weeks old yesterday.

We have introduced individual feeding bowls rather than more communal eating.

We have now started bringing the puppies into the kitchen in pairs to acclimatise them to the noises of every day life inside the house.

It was very hot today so we introduced a “paddling pool” (my mother’s former extra-large roasting tin!) and the puppies enjoyed splashing about in it to cool off.

Lots of garden play too today. All the puppies have been out for a frolic with Luna & Vesta twice in the shade of the big chestnut tree.

The squeaking in the background is the noise of the other puppies all wanting to come out and join the fun.  They have to wait patiently: they will each have their turn.
