Vesta is eating small meals every couple of  hours, hand-fed to initially to tempt her as she is so focussed on her puppies that she will not give herself “time out” to feed.  Once she has had a couple of hand-fed portions, she will now finish the bowl herself which is progress.  She rushes out of the run every so often to do the necessary on the grass but quickly returns to her pups.  She is proving a devoted mother; the pups are thriving.
